THE GREAT ORANGE AID BALLOON RACE

The tickets can be sold anywhere and to anyone for £3.00 each.

The winner of the main prize will be the owner of the balloon that travels the furthest distance by the closing date, which will be around 4 weeks after the release.

The finder will also win a prize.

When the tickets are sold the purchaser’s details are recorded on the lower portion of the ticket and the whole ticket retained by us for reference. They are all numbered for easy confirmation.

The tickets (both parts) should be sent to Terry Thurley with the relevant remittance. Sellers should keep a personal record of the total number of tickets they have sold.

The main body of the ticket will be attached to the balloon on release day.

Arrangements and applications are being made to release the balloons on Sunday 5^th June, at around 4 pm. From Chingford Masonic Centre.

The winner will be entitled to a hot air balloon trip.  The winner and a guest will be treated to a ballooning experience assisting with the preparation before launch and a 1.5 - 2 hour flight with a balloonist who has over 30 years experience. It is necessary to impose a minimum height 4ft 6 ins for those making the flight.

Quality polo shirts in navy, incorporating the round OrangeAid logo are available at just £10.

The shirts, from the Fruit of the Loom factory are made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton and will wash and wear well.

Available sizes are M, L, XL and XXL.

The sew on badges are available separately at just £3 each.

All profits will be added to the appeal fund.

Stocks are being held by the local Masonic centre appeal representatives and further supplies can be quickly made available if required.
